About
Us
Our Managing Director, Mr Kevin P. Malone, has been working in the Irish
Security Industry since 1969. During that time he has been a driving force
in the Regulation and Licensing of the Irish Security Industry, with a
leading article in the Irish Times 'A Protective Arm' in September 1978,
whilst he held the position of Chairman of the Irish Region of the International
Professional Security Association. This Article was supported by the then
Garda Commissioner, Mr Patrick McLaughlin. It is only now that the Security
Industry Licensing Bill is going through the Irish Dail for enactment.
In 1981 Mr Malone felt the need for a Training and Standards Body for
the expanding Irish Security Industry and co-founded The Security Institute
of Ireland. Mr Malone was the Institute's First President and remains
a Life Governor.
Mr Malone is also a Former Vice President and Chairman (Manned Services
Division) of the Irish Security Industry Association. The Association
was founded in 1972 and is the only trade association representing the
full spectrum of security services of all sizes in Ireland. It's primary
objective is to promote and encourage high standards of ethics, service
and equipment throughout the Security Industry.
In 1983 Mr Malone established Paragon Security. Since that time the company
has expanded it's business on professionalism, integrity, quality of service
and recommendation.
